Manolo Millares
Manolo Millares is our second collaboration with Acquavella Galleries in New York. Acquavella Galleries purchased, together with Sotheby’s, the important art holdings of Pierre Matisse Gallery, also in New York. During his life Pierre Matisse struggled in Europe to create a market for who later became the most important artists of the 20th century, such as Giacometti or Chagall and Spanish artists such as Joan Miró, Manolo Millares or Antonio Saura. Hence the importance of uniting the names of Spanish artists of the time of El Paso with the rest of the leading figures of the international art scene of the twentieth century.
We therefore present a unique exhibition for its origin, its quality and the quantity of works on display.
